IECD-566 Family Systems Theory and Functioning4 semester credits This course provides basic background information on the history, the different developmental models and theoretical constructs involved in understanding the different aspects of family functioning–especially parental development over time–and their impact on child development during infancy and early childhood, with an emphasis on typical parental functioning.
