CE-563 Implicit Bias This course provides learners with the opportunity to explore implicit bias or the unconscious associations, beliefs or attitudes we have toward any social or cultural group (i.e. race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, physical abilities, etc.). People often attribute certain characteristics and qualities to all members of a particular group without accounting for individuality. This course will allow participants to discover their own implicit biases and take steps to minimize their effect on their decision making about others. Also, it will teach participants how to help others identify their implicit bias, which is necessary to facilitate a desired change. Delivery Method: Online Grading Default: Credit/No Credit only Note: 4 CEUs (40 clock hours)
