ODL-501 Organizational Behavior & Leadership6 semester credits Organizational leadership requires a deep and nuanced understanding of how individuals behave in organizational settings. Effective leaders create environments that are consistent with the fundamentals of human behavior in organizations. This course examines the nature of individual and group behavior in work environments and how it affects organizational performance. Special emphasis is placed on psychological principles, how and why people act as they do, and the use of (leadership) theories as conceptual tools for analyzing and solving organizational problems.
