ELC-752 Leading in Tribal Colleges, HBCUs, HSIs, and International Schools

4 semester credits

Students explore leadership strategies in diverse educational settings, including Tribal Colleges, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), and international schools. Students analyze how leadership, cultural strengths, and student support systems contribute to student success in these unique contexts.

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  1. Analyze leadership strategies that support student success in Tribal Colleges, HBCUs, HSIs, and international schools.
  2. Understand the role of culture and identity in shaping student experiences and success.
  3. Develop strategies to leverage institutional strengths to promote inclusive leadership and student achievemen.
  4. Critically evaluate student support systems in diverse higher education settings.
