ELC-697 Foundations of Doctoral Study2 semester credits
Students are introduced to the Leadership for Change EdD curriculum and community. Students explore doctoral level competencies, design a personalized growth plan as self-directed scholar-practitioners. They begin identifying potential dissertation research topics.

Learning Outcome(s):
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Identity key elements of the EdD Leadership for Change curriculum and community.
- Create a Personal Development Plan based on self-assessment of the doctoral level competencies, that includes a plan for personal development as a self-directed scholar-practitioner and a learning plan for course and dissertation completion.
- Identify potential research topics aligned with personal academic and professional interests.
