Students successfully completing this class will be able to:
- Understand basic concepts and terms associated with empirical research.
- Understand advantages and disadvantages of common research designs.
- Know what general statistical tests can be applied to common research designs.
- Read and understand academic research articles.
- Write a testable hypothesis and design an experiment to test said hypothesis.
- Understand how to write an academic report of a research study.
