HOD-756 Public Policy & Public Action6 semester credits Many midcareer professionals want and need a disciplined understanding of contemporary public life, collective decision- making, and social and public action. Through this knowledge area, students become familiar with the chief themes in current political debate, learn how public policy is made and how to influence that process, and gain an understanding of the impact of laws, government actions, and other relevant issues on their professions and organizations.
