This course presents an overview of commonly used psychophysiology and biofeedback techniques by psychologists in behavioral healthcare and integrated care settings.

- Describe the basic principles of psychophysiological self-regulation and mind-body interaction.
- Describe basic biofeedback systems and instrumentation.
- Describe treatment applications supported by research.
- Model biofeedback methods and adjunctive techniques such as cognitive and behavioral interventions.
- Examine historical perspectives, basic concepts, clinical efficacy research, ethical and legal considerations, and definitions of applied psychophysiology and biofeedback.
