HOD-847 Theoretical Foundations of Evidence Based Coaching

4 semester credits
In this course, students examine, discuss and apply the key principles and strategies from eight groups of theories which underpin coaching practice and competence:  theories from humanistic and transpersonal psychology, adult learning, adult development, behavioral change and neuroscience, cognitive-behavioral theories, intelligences, communication, gender and culture.  Each theory set is aligned with specific coaching competencies as defined by the International Coach Federation.
