IECD-574 Intervention in Practice4 semester credits This advanced level course provides an opportunity for students to learn how to formulate case material and apply it to a comprehensive intervention program directly with infants and young children of different ages. Students will present developmental family and other case information and then formulate a comprehensive treatment plan to address family concerns. Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Understand the definition of case formulation for intervention.
- Understand the components of a case formulation to guide intervention.
- Develop a multidisciplinary document that can be used in developmental interviews and treatment planning for intervention.
