IECD-521 Infant Mental Health4 semester credits This course is designed to develop leaders in the field of Infant Mental Health. The course begins with an early history of the development of the Infant Mental Health movement. Students will be prepared to move into leadership positions to promote the importance of infant mental health assessment and intervention. The group will read articles dealing with developmental issues, individual differences, and relationship issues beginning in 1940 and continuing through today.
